The Amritapuri Chapter's first ever Alumni Get Together has held on Saturday, August 8, 2009. More than 120 Amrita Alumni who have studied in Amritapuri, and other campuses have joined for this wonderful event.
Prof. Anand Patwardhan, Dean, S.J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay, and Former Executive Director TIFAC delivered a inspiring speech on the importance of alumni. Br. Sudeep launched 'Amritians Circle of Love', the Special Interest Group for serving the poor and needy. Dr.Bala, Br. Bijukumar, were also present for the function.
Prof.Jay Misra, Director - Alumni Relations, gave an introduction to all the activities, and Special Interest Groups of Amritians to the participants. Alumni enthralled the crowd with songs, and jokes, and games, and by sharing their experiences.
A memorable day for all the participants. A good start... and lot more exciting events to come...
