Vijay Richard participates in JP Morgan Charity Chase challenge 2009, in London.
Representing Tata Technologies, Vijay Richard, an Amrita alumnus, participated in JP Morgan Charity Chase challenge 2009, a charity initiative run in Battersea park in London on July 9, 2009.
Richard, who works with Jaguar and Land Rover as a part of its C3P-NG (CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM- Next Generation System) team, was sponsored by Jaguar and Land Rover employees along with Tata Technologies, Ford (Europe) and Fashions-UK.
"It was a great opportunity to talk to people about their teams and companies as well as highlight Tata Technologies operations. I completed the 6km race in 38.60 minutes, running along the banks of river Thames," Richard avers.
Executives from Tata, Tetley, Tata Corus Steel, Tata communication, Taj and Tata Limited were also a part of the event.
He selected the following charity houses, including United Nations Association Trust, which promotes UN within UK.
